Fry onions and green pepper in fat until brown. Pour off excess fat. Add hamburger steak and cook until well done, but not crisply brown. Add spaghetti and heat well. Season to taste. Serve hot.
For variety, use 1 lb package of macaroni, instead of canned spaghetti, and one 10 oz can of concentrated tomato soup. Cook macaroni in boiling water. Takes an extra kettle. A little sausage meat with the hamburger and cooked celery may also be used.
