     Barbecued Ribs

Ingredients
6 pounds country style pork ribs
1 large onion, sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
 
1 Tablespoon celery seeds
2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

Instructions
Place ribs in a large roasting pan. Cover and bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes; drain. Top ribs with onion and lemon. Saute garlic in butter in a saucepan over medium heat until tender. Add water and remaining 11 ingredients. Bring to a boil; remove from heat, and pour over ribs. Bake; uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour, basting often.
