     Corn on the Cob

Ingredients
24 ears of corn in husks
salt and pepper
3/4 lb butter or margarine
 

Instructions
Soak corn (husks and all) in water for a couple of hours. Remove from water and lay ears on grate above a bed of coals. Cover with wet burlap or canvas if desired. Turn ears occasionally until done (kernels are no longer juicy or milk when punctured). Takes about 1/2 hour. Pull back husks to use as a handle. Remove silk. Butter and add salt and pepper.
