Dissolve cornstarch in water.
Pour the warm water, cocoa and sugar into a small saucepan and cook, whilst stirring, over low heat until dissolved. Remove from heat.
Stir in cornstarch mixture, return to the heat and whisk until thickened.
Remove from the heat and whisk some more until smooth.
