In large mixing bowl, stir yeast, warm water and 1 t.sugar together.Let yeast start to foam-then addmilk, butter, salt, rest of sugae, eggs, and 3 c.flour.Beat until smooth.Add remaining flour-up to 3 cups,to form soft dough. You may need to add the remaining 1/2 flour- but I like to use that as the flour I knead the dough in.That way you are not adding even more flour than you need.Turn onto floured surface, knead until smooth-just a few minutes. Place in to greased bowl, flip so both sides are greased.Cover with towel and place in warm place. This will take about 1 hour to double in size.
Punch dough down and divide in half.Cut into 12 pieces and form into balls.Place into 2-9x13 greased pans-cover,let rise and then bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When I remove from oven, I do use a pastry brush to brush the tops of rolls with melted butter.
