     Lauri's Soft and Sweet Buns

Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
2 tsp sugar
3 cups lukewarm water
2 packages yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup hard margarine
3 eggs (beaten until light)
9 cups of flour (approximately)
 

Instructions
Dissolve 2 tsp sugar in 1 cup of the lukewarm water. Sprinkle yeast and let stand 10 minutes. Then stir. Meanwhile, combine honey, 2 cups lukewarm water, salt, and margarine in a large bowl. Mix well. Stir in yeast mixture and eggs. Beat in 4 cups of flour with electric mixer. Add remaining flour 1 cup at a time until a smooth, elastic dough is formed. Make sure you kneed it until small bubbles form on the surface of the dough. Let rise 2 hours.
Punch down and make into whatever shape buns you want. (I usually make dinner rolls by dividing the dough into 48 pieces and placing them in two greased 9 x 15 cake pans.) Let rise half an hour. Bake at 375 degrees until tops are golden and when tapped they sound hollow. (20-45 minutes depending on the size of buns) Turn out onto racks and let cool. Store in large plastic ziploc bags at room temperature or freeze.
