1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan forced 160°C). Lightly grease a 12-hole x ½cup capacity muffin pan.
2. Sift flour and cinnamon into a bowl.
3. Combine the lemon rind, juice, sugar, egg and melted butter or margarine together.
4. Add to the flour together with the buttermilk.
5. Stir until just combined.
6. Gently fold through the blueberries.
7. Spoon the mixture into the muffin pan.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked.
