     (OZ) CREAMY CHICKEN SKILLET

Ingredients
1 cup cubed CHICKEN BREAST (raw)
1 cup uncooked ROTINI
1 1/2 cups fresh BROCCOLI - chopped small
1 fresh CARROT (about 1/2 cup) - sliced thin
1 ear CORN - kernels cut off (1/3 -1/2 cup)
1/2 cup chopped GREEN ONION
2 cups WATER, plus 1/2 cup COLD WATER - divided
1 cup WHITE COOKING WINE
 
1 cup HEAVY CREAM
1 Tbl. CORN OIL
3 teas. CORN STARCH
2 CHICKEN BOUILLON CUBES
2 teas. minced GARLIC
1/2 teas. coarse BLACK PEPPER
1/2 teas. SALT

Instructions
In oil, pan-fry chicken cubes until done and browned (about 10 min.) Meanwhile boil bouillon in 2 cups of the water.
Add wine, cream, rotini, broccoli, and carrots. Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, 8-10 minutes.
Mix 1/2 cup cold water thoroughly with corn starch. Add to skillet along with corn, onion, garlic, pepper, and salt. Stir frequently until all is done and sauce is thickened. (Sauce will thicken upon standing)
Try 3/4 cup each wine and cream.
Serving Suggestions
Possibly with bread and butter
