     Sour Dough Bread

Ingredients
STARTER
1 pkg active dry yeast
2 cups warm water
2 Tbsp sugar
2 cups warm water
2 1/2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
BREAD
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
 
1 Tbsp salt
1 cup bread starter
1 1/2 cp warm water
6 cups bread flour
Preheat oven to 350 drgrees

Instructions
STARTER Mix yeast with 1/2 cup warm water, set aside. Mix sugar with 2 cups warm water and flour. Add yeast mixture. Let set in glass jar, covered with cloth for 5 days. Put the starter in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Take out and feed it with- 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup warm water, and 3 Tbsp instant potato flakes. Let stand in a warm place all day or overnight.
BREAD Blend sugar, oil, salt, bread starter, water and bread flour. Makes a stiff dough. Oil a bowl, add dough, then turn to coat both sides with oil. Cover with cloth and let stand in a warm place all day or overnight. Knead dough 10 to 12 times on a floured board. Divide into 3 even loaves. Shape into loaves and place in loaf pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
