     WW Baked French Toast

Ingredients
12 slices low calorie whole wheat bread
2 c low fat milk
1 1/2 c egg substitute
1 tsp vanilla
scant 1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch salt
1/2 c packed brown sugar
2 Tblsp. softened light butter
1/4 c maple syrup
 

Instructions
Spray 8 inch square baking dish with non stick spray. Place 12 slice of bread in 4 equal stacks in baking dish (it will be tight). Whisk milk, egg subistute, vanilla,cinnamon and pinch of salt in medium bowl. Slowly pour egg mixture over bread pressing down bread to cover and spooning egg mixture over any uncoated bread. Cover and chill up to 1 day. To serve, preheat oven to 350. Mix brown sugar, and butter in small bowl with fork until smooth, spread evenly over bread. Bake until hot and knife comes out clean from center, 1 hour. Cool on rack 20 minutes cut into6 pieces. Serve with maple syrup.
