2-3 medium size fresh tomatoes (1 to 1 1/2 pounds)
stems removed and peeled.
1/2 red onion finely chopped
1 jalapeno chili pepper (stems, ribs and seeds removed) finely chopped
1 serano chili pepper ( same as above)
Juice of one fresh lime
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
I peel the tomatoes over the blended so that I don't loss any juice. I add the lime juice to the tomatoes and salt.
Using a food chopper, I chopped the onions and peppers together and then add to the blender. Add cilantro and blended until smooth. Let set at least an hour for flavors to blend.
If you like it hot, add some of the pepper seeds.
