     Molasses Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
3/4 cup shortening (melted)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
 
1 egg
Instructions
Stir sugar, molasses and 1 egg into the melted shortening. Once mixed add all the other dry ingredients (the first 6 listed).
Form dough into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Roll in granulated sugar.
Bake at 370 for 10 to 15 minutes.
