     White Bread

Ingredients
1 c warm water
1 yeast pkg
2 Tbl sugar
2-1/2 tsp salt
4 Tbl oil
1-1/4 c water
3 c flour then 3-1/2 c flour
 

Instructions
Dissolve yeast cake in warm water. Mix in sugar, salt and oil. Add water and 3 c flour and mix. Then add 3-1/2 c flour and knead until thoroughly blended.
Split dough and add to 2 greased loaf pans. Let dough rise to 1 inch above edge of pan.
Bake 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce head to 350 degrees for additional 25 to 30 minutes. Turn out hot loaves onto cooling rack.
