- preheat oven
- Melt garlic herb butter
- Brush bread with melted butter when halfway cooked about
20 minutes
- bake another 5-7 minutes
- Let cool for fifteen minutes
- Slice bread 3/4 of the way down
- Generously apply garlic butter
- Put cheese slices into cracks
- bake until cheese is melted
