wash cucumbers and slice thin. do not peel. add 2 c lime to 2
galwater. soak 24 hrs. drain and wash. cover w clear water
and soak for 3 hrs. drain, cover w 2 qts. white vinegar, 5 lbs.
sugar. tie in cheese cloth all the spices and soak overnight.
next a.m. put onto boil. stir carefully. cucumbers need to turn
dark green. boil jars and caps. pack pickles into hot jars cap
and turn upside down to seal. leave 24 hrs. w/o moving.
