Cream Together shortening, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in milk and add egg. Mix in the rest of the ingredients to mixture. Divide in half, wrap in foil and chill for 1 hour. Spread dough on lightly floured surface and cut dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
