1 head red cabbage, quartered, cored, and cut into thick slices
1 medium apple, peeled, cored, sliced
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
In medium saucepan, melt buter. Add onion and sauté. Stir in
cabbage, apple, maple syrup, vinegar, salt and pepper. Cover,
bring heat to high, boil, stirring, for about 15 minutes. Reduce
heat, simmer for 45 minutes.
