Scalde milk. Add salt, sugar and lard. Let cool. Let yeast grwon in water, sugar. Add yeast to cooled milk. Mix in flour.
Place dough onto floured surface. Knead into moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic. 6 to 8 minutes. Shape into ball. Place in a greased bowl and turn to grease surface. Cover and let rise in a warm place till double. Punch dough down. Divide dough into four balls. Shape each into loaf adn place in greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise in a warm place till double. About 45 minutes. Bake at 375 oven about 40 minutes.
