     Farmhouse Barbecue Muffins

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   10 to 12
Preptime   20

Ingredients
1 or 2 Tubes of Refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (will need two for 12 muffins)
1 lb ground beef ( I used 1/2 lb beef & 1/2 lb pork sausage)
1/2 Cup Ketchup
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 Cup (4oz) shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375. Separate dough into 12 biscuits. Flatten into 5 inch circles. Press into muffin cup. (grease muffin pan first) Set aside
Cook beef/pork in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and chili powder; stir until smooth. Add to meat and mix well.
Divide meat mixture among biscuit lined cups. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Big hit at the jay house. Could be used at a brunch, lunch, dinner or as appetizers. Very versitile.
