3 C. FLOUR
1 T. BAKING POWDER
1 t. ANISE SEED
1& 1/2 C. SUGAR
1/4 C. BUTTER ROOM TEMP.
3 EGGS
1/4 C. HEAVY CREAM
1/4 t. ANISE OIL OR 2 t. ANISE EXTRACT
 

Instructions
MIX FLOUR,BAKING POWDER AND ANISE SEEDS TOPGETHER SET ASIDE
CREAM SUGAR AND BUTTER ADD EGGS 1 AT A TIME. BEAT IN HEAVY CREAM AND ANISE.
ADD FLOUR TO MAKE DOUGH. DIVIDE DOUGH IN 4 ROLL EACH PART INTO 12 INCH LOG ADDING MORE FLOUR IF NEEDED BUT NOT MORE THAN 1/4 C.PER LOG.
PUT ON UNGREASED SHEET AND BAKE 25 MIN TILL GOLDEN BROWN. COOL 10 MIN SLICE INTO 1/4- 1/2 INCH SLICES PUT BAKE IN OVEN AND BAKE 7 MIN EACH SIDE COOL 5 MIN REMOVE FROM SHEET.
