Prheat oven to 4 2 5. Line baking sheet with foil Lightly coat with cooking spray. In bowl combine bown sugar and fienly chopped pecans. Place apple halves, cut side up, on baking sheet. Brush tops of apples with butter; sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Bake 15 minutes or until just tender when pierced with fork.
To arrange salad, mix lettuce with a lite amount of dressing--then put apples on top. Sppon melted sugar and pecans from balins sheet atop salad..Sprinkle with chopped pecans and dried cranberries
Can make apples ahead in the day. Keep at room temperature...
