     Nana Rose's Porcupines

Ingredients
Tomato sauce, can - 14 oz (398 ml)
Water - 1 cup (50 ml)
Worchestershire sauce - 2 tsp (10 ml)
Ground beef - 1 lb ( 450 g)
White rice, uncooked - 1/2 cup (125 ml)
Water - 1/2 cup ( 125 ml)
Chopped onion, fine - 1/3 cup (75 ml)
Salt - 1 tsp (5 ml)
 
Celery salt - 1/2 tsp (2 ml)
Garlic powder - 1/4 tsp (1 ml)
Pepper - 1/4 tsp (1 ml)
FOR CREAMY SAUCE:
Condensed cream of ? soup - 10 oz (284 ml) can
Milk - 1/2 cup (125 ml)
Pepper (optional) - to taste

Instructions
Mix tomato sauce, water, and worchestershire sauce in a 2 quart (2 L) casserole. Set aside.
Mix next 8 ingredients and form into meatballs, place into sauce in baking dish. Bake in 350 degree F (180 degree C) oven, covered, for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
FOR CREAMY SAUCE: Substitute creamy sauce for tomato sauce by mixing a can of your choice of a condensed cream soup. Try cream of mushroom, cream of celery, cream of asparagus, or even cream of cheddar! Bake as directed above.
Serving Suggestions
Wholesome served with rice, or even with spaghetti noodles when that's all that's left in the cupboard!
