     BUTTER HORNS

3/4 CUP SOUR CREAM
2 STICKS BUTTER
1 EGG YOLK
2 CUPS FLOUR
FILLING:
1 1/2 GROUND NUTS
3/4 CUP SUGAR
 
375 DEGREES
10-15 MINUTES

Instructions
BEAT SOUR CREAM, BUTTER, EGG YOLK, AND FLOUR. FORM INTO A BALL AND COVER WITH PLATIC WRAP AND REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT. CUT LOAF IN STRIPS. MAKE A SQUARE FROM EACH STRIP AND PUT FILLING, NUTS, AND SUGAR,IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SQUARE AND ROLL LENGTHWISE, OVERLAPPING EDGES AND SHAPE INTO HORNS. BAKE IN MIDDLE OF OVEN ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET 375 DEGREES FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES.
