     Apple pie

Ingredients
2 9 inch pie crusts
1/4 c all purp flour
1/2 t cinnamon
6 c thinly sliced apples
3/4 c sugar
1/2 t nutmeg
Dash of salt
2 T butter
 

Instructions
Heat oven to425 degrees. Prepare pastry. Stir together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt; mix w apples. Turn into pastry-lined pan; dot w butter. Cover w top crust which has slits cut in it.seal and flute edges. Cover edge w two to three inch strips of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil the last fifteen min. To brown. Bake at 40-50 min. Or until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
