     Sun-dried Tomato Tapenade

Ingredients
20 sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil)
1/4 c. capers, packed in brine, drained
15 fresh basil leaves
3 garlic cloves, crushed
3 Tbl. red wine vinegar
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
1/4 c. raw almonds or pine nuts
1 c. pitted kalamata olives, chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
 

Instructions
Place the tomatoes, capers, basil, garlic, vinegar and olive oil into the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped salsa. Add the almonds and olives and pulse again to incorporate, but do not puree. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
