Ingredients
4 cups very finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup melted butter
1 pound phillo
1 12-ounce jar honey

Instructions
Heat oven to 300 degrees; mix walnuts sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. Grease a 13x9 pan. Unfold phillo dough placing 1 sheet in bottom of dish. Brush with a very thin layer of butter. Repeat this action 5 more times.
Sprinkle with about 2/3 cup walnut mixture. Continue with walnut mixture every 5 layers of phillo. End with 6 layers phyla. Cut 1/2 way through in a diamond pattern; bake for 1 1/2 hours.
With about 10 minutes left, in a 1 quart saucepan, over medium low heat, heat honey until hot but not yet boiling. Spoon hot honey over baklava directly as it comes out of oven.
Cool. To serve, with sharp, smooth bladed knife, continue cutting the rest of the way through.
