Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape ground beef into patties and slice potatoes 1/2 inch thick. Place each patty on square of foil and top with 2 or 3 potato slices. Place slice of onion over top and season to taste. Fold each foil package tightly, place in pan and bake for 45 minutes.
