Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs, slightly beaten

1 bag chocolate chips or white morsels (about 2 cups)
1 1/3 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a small bowl and set aside.
Beat peanut butter, margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and mix well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts.
Drop batter by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake in a preheated oven for 15- 16 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
