1 medium head of cabbage

add 1 tbls salt to cabbage (grated)

let stand 1 hour squeeze out juice, add carrots, peppers & onion
|

while cabbage is standing make syrup
|
| |
1 cup vinegar
|
|

1/4 c water
|
| |
2 c sugar
|
| |
1tsp celery seed
|
| |
1 tsp mustard seed
|
