Cream butter. Add sugar, creaming until light, add eggs and vanilla. Beat till fluffy. Stir dry ingredients together, add to creamed mixture alternately wtih milk. Beat one minute. Bake in greased, lightly floured pan at 350 degrees, 30 - 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
