1. heat oven to 375 degrees
2. stir together dry ingredients, set aside
3. beat butter,sugars and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy
4. Add eggs and beat well
5. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well
6. stir in chocolate chips and nuts
7. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet (I used a tablespoon instead-less servings but bigger cookie)
7. bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown
8. cool slightly(2 minutes on sheet) then transfer to wire cooling rack until completely cool
9. store in containers
