4 cups Old Fashion Oats
|

2 cups Sliced Almonds
|
|
½ cup Chopped Walnuts
|
|
¼ cup Brown Sugar
|

½ cup Vegetable Oil
|
|
½ cup Honey
|
|
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
|
|
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
|
|
¼ tsp Salt
|

Optional- 1 cup Dried Cranberries, 1 cup Dark Raisins

Instructions |

|
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, almonds, brown sugar, salt, walnuts and cinnamon, set aside.

In a large measuring cup or a bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, honey and vanilla, pour over the dry ingredients and mix everything well together.
|
|
|
Spread mixture into one layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes making sure to give it a toss every 10 minutes for even cooking.
|
|
|
Once the granola comes out of the oven, toss in raisins or cranberries (optional). Seal in an airtight container to be enjoyed anytime.
