Place all ingredients into slow cooker. Stir well
and replace lid.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Stir, remove bay leaves & season well.
Note- if your slow cooker doesn't have a well
fitting lid you can add 1/2 or 1 cup of water at the
start (or during cooking) to keep the sauce at the
right consistency.
You should have enough here for about 12 people.
You can use it straight away (add in minced beef for
a bolognaise) or chill and freeze for future meals.
