     Pumpkin Bars and Frosting

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups pumpkin (canned)
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup nuts, chopped
 
1 (3 ounce) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp milk
6 Tbsp butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
Butter and flour a 17x11 baking pan. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Bar instructions- Combine sugar, eggs, pumpkin, butter, flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and nuts; Mix Well. Pour into pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until wooden pick comes out with moist crumbs. Remove to rack to cool completely.
Frosting instructions- Combine cream cheese, milk, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar; Mix well until spreadable consistency. Spread on top of bars.
Cut bars into squares of desired size. Number of servings depends on size of squares. MaryLou says Bars are very good. Enjoy!!
