     Canning Seasoned Butter

Ingredients
Rosemary -Thyme Butter
1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1 tsp dried thyme crushed
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
All Purpose Butter Seasoning
2 tsp dried basil, crushed
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp onion powder
 
Spicy Butter Seasoning
1/4 onion, finely minced
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 dried oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Italian Butter
2 tsp dried oregano, 2 cloves garlic minced, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
Start with 1/2 cup (1 stick) of softened butter and then add one of the combinations below. Seasoned butters will keep several days in Refrigerator.
Seasoned butter on french bread. Slice bread lengthwise. Spread on each slice of bread. Reassemble the loaf and wrap in foil. Buttered bread can be stored in freezer for 1 week. Remove the bread from freezer , defrost it in the refrigerator and bake it at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until heated through.
