2 Small cooking apples, cored, cut into 1/4" slices
1 Med. onion, chopped
3/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/2 tsp. rosemary, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 C apple cider (or apple juice)
Instructions
Layer the bottom of the crockpot with potatoes, parsnips, apples, onions and sprinkle with thyme, rosemary, salt & Pepper.
Add meat on top of that.
Pour apple cider/apple juice over all ingredients.
Cover, cook low heat 7-8 hours or high-heat 3-4 hours.
Serving
Suggestions
Nice green salad or applesauce on the side. Serve with hot cider.
