     crock Pot Pulled Pork

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   8 to 10
Preptime   15 min

Ingredients
Large Slow cooker
3 to 5 lb Pork shoulder
3 or 4 slices of bacon chopped up
1 med red onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 to 3 table spoons honey
1 large bottle of your favorite BBQ sause., we use Kansas City Masterpiece
( if you want it spicier, you could put a dollop of
horseraddish in the mixture also)

Instructions
Heat up the crock pot to High, Throw bacon in and let sizzle for a couple of minutes. Then add the onions, brown sugar and honey. Mix it up a little bit. Place pork shoulder on top. Then pour in the BBQ sauce. It should cover the top of the pork. Then let cook all day approximately 8 hours. The meat should be falling apart.
Towards the end make up a batch of cole slaw and have some good hamburger buns ready. Once the meat is done, remove the bone and shredd it right in the crock pot. I use the two fork method. Stir it up with the bits of onion and bacon and you should be ready to go.
