Layer ingredients in a canning jar in the following order- sugar, brown sugar, chocolate chips, flour, soda and salt.
Make a cute recipe card tag with the directions and ingredients necessary to finish the cookies before you give it away!
To complete the recipe, transfer the canning jar contents to a large mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake cookies in a preheated 350 degree oven for 11-15 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
