To toast pecans, place on baking sheet in 350 oven for about 15 min.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter with sugars until smooth, about 2 min. Add the egg and vanilla ; beat well.
Ad the dry ingredients & mix thoroughly. Stir in pecans & toffee. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 -12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. cool cookies on sheets 5 min. ;remove to racks to cool completely.
