     ICE BOX OATMEAL COOKIES

Ingredients
CREAM
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
BEAT IN
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
ADD
 
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream tartar
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick oats
Instructions
Knead - divide in half, shape in rolls Chill or freeze Slice and bake 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes
