     Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients
2 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
2 cups Milk
1 Tablespoon Butter
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Coconut
2 teaspoons Vanilla Flavoring
3 Tablespoons Flour
 
Meringue:
3 Egg Whites
6 Tablespoon Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
3 Tablespoon Coconut
1 Baked Pie Crust

Instructions
Mix flour, sugar, and salt.
Mix together egg yolks and milk and cook in the top of a double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add butter and cool. Add vanilla and coconut. Pour onto cooked pie shell and top with meringue then brown.
Meringue: Beat egg whites and cream tartar slowly add sugar until it stand in peaks. Spoon on top of filling. Sprinkle coconut on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
