Mix flour, sugar, and salt.

Mix together egg yolks and milk and cook in the top of a double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened.

Add butter and cool. Add vanilla and coconut. Pour onto cooked pie shell and top with meringue then brown.
|
|
|
Meringue:
Beat egg whites and cream tartar slowly add sugar until it stand in peaks. Spoon on top of filling. Sprinkle coconut on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
