     Apple Pie

Ingredients
6 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp minute tapioca
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 pkg (15 ounces) refrigerated pie crust
1 Tbsp margarine or butter
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix apples, sugar, tapioca, cinnamon and nutmeg in large bowl. Let stand 15 minutes. Prepare pie crusts as directed on package. Line 9-inch pie plate with 1 of the pie crusts. Fill with apple mixture. Dot with margarine/butter. Cut second pie crust into 1/2-inch strips. Arrange in lattice design over fruit mixture. Seal and flute edge. Bake 60-65 minutes or until juices form bubbles that burst slowly. Move to wire rack and cool.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm with scoop of Vanilla ice cream or cooled with whipping cream
