Cut the chicken into pieces, leaving the breast and wing attached and the leg and thigh attached. Combine the olive oil, garlic, ginger, kosher salt, turmeric, paprika, cinnamon, pepper and cumin in a bowl and mix well. Stir in the yogurt. Rub on the chicken pieces. Place in a single layer in a shallow dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Marinate in teh refrigerator for 2-24 hours. Place on a greased rack in a roasting pan. Roast at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until juices run clean.
