     Kansa City BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
5 c ketchup
3 c. sugar
2 T. Dijon mustard
1 T, Worcestershire
1/2 c. aple cider vinegar
1/4 c. molasses
2 T. Tabasco
1 T. salt
1/2 t. onion powder
 
1/4 t. garlic powder
2 t. pepper
1/2 c. Jack Daniels whiskey

Instructions
Combine ketchup, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire,vinegar, molasses, Tabasco, salt, onion powder, garlic powder & pepper in large pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, stirring often. Add whiskey and simmer 30 minutes. Let cool & refrigerate. Sauce will keep for several weeks.
Remove papery membrane from back of ribs. Generously spread rub on both sides of ribs, thoroughly massage into meat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Prepare smoker to 225 & place racks in smoker, bone side down. Smoke ribs 4-5 hours, until cooked through. If desired, brush the ribs with sauce during last 30 minutes of smoking. If grilling; use indirect method. Place a drip in the center of coals and preheat to 325. If using gas grill, place wood chips in smoker box or pouch of aluminum foil under grate. Place ribs in center of grate over drip pan. Cook abour 1 1/2 -2 hours Serve with BB! Sauce
