Heat oven to 350.
In a large bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg; blend well
Add flour mix well; Spread dough in ungreased 15x10 baking pan. Sprinkle half dough with candied fruit; sprinkle other half with chocolate chips and pecans. Press lightly into dough.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled.
In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and enough milk for desired drizzling consistency; blend until smooth. Drizzle over colled bars. Let stand until set. Cut into bars.
