     Pizzelle Cookies

Ingredients
6 eggs
3-1/2 cups of flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine (1/2 lb)
4 tsp baking powder
2 Tbs vanilla or anise
 

Instructions
1. Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually. Beat until smooth. 2. Add cooled, melted margarine and vanilla or anise. 3. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by a spoon. 4. Press with Pizzelle maker.
Serving Suggestions
Serve plain or dusted with powdered sugar. Or, while hot shape into a cone or roll into a cylinder and fill with favorite cream filling.
