     Fudgey Coconut Clusters

Ingredients
5 1/3 c Mounds sweetened coconut flakes
14 oz sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
2/3 c Hershey's cocoa
1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
2 t vanilla
1 12/ t almond extract
Hershey Kisses mini milk chocolate, or candide cherry halves, optional
 

Instructions
Oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with foil; generously greas with vegetable shortening. Combine coconut, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa, melted butter, vanilla and almond extract in large bowl; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or just until set; press 3 milk chocolates or candied cherry halves in center of each cookie, if desired. Immediately remove to wire racks and cool completely.
CHOCOLATE CHIP MACAROONS- omit melted butter and cocoa; stir together other ingredients. Add 1 c Hershey's Mini Chips Semi-Sweet chocolate. Bake 9-11 minutes or just until set. Immediately remove to wire racks and cool completely.
