Combine sugar, syrup and salt in a 2 qt. casserole. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stir in peanuts; microwave 2-5 minutes, stirring after 2 and 4 minutes., until syrupa nd peanuts are lightly browned. Stir in butter, vanilla dnsoda until light and foamy. Spread to 1/4 inch thick on large well buttered cookie sheet.
