     Hostess Cup Cakes

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 rounded t. baking soda
4 heaping T cococa
1 c. boiling water
1 t. vanilla
3.4 t. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
 
Filling
1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. milk
1/4 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 T. water
1/4 c. powdered sugar
Instructions
Mix first 5 ingredients; add water and mix well. Add next 4 ingredients and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Filling- Mix first 5 ingredients for 10 minutes; add water adn powdered sugar. Beat well and fill cupcakes while warm. Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
