     Savoury Pot Roast

Ingredients
4 lb Pot Roast
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2 Tbsp Flour
4 Tbsp Butter
3 Onions (sliced)
3 Carrots (peeled & Sliced)
2 Stalks of Celery (sliced)
1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
 
2 Cups Water
1 Bay Leaf
1 cup Red Wine (or vinegar)

Instructions
Wipe meat with a damp cloth. Combine salt, pepper and flour. Rub into surface of roast. Melt butter in dutch oven and brown roast on all sides. Brown onions and add. Add carrots, celery, tomato sauce, water, bay leaf and red wine. Cover and simmer for 3 hours. Slice meat.
